Why CardScape?

Spatial memory

Allows you to use spatial memory.

Non-linear

CardScape does not tie you into a linear way of thinking.

Replacement for index cards

These are index cards you always have in your pocket, and you don't need to lay out newly every time.

Much more portable than cards pinned to a wall.

Copy and paste

Copy and paste individual cards or whole groups to duplicate them.

Spatial thinking

Seeing and interacting with ideas in a spatial manner lets you form connections and links that are not obvious in an ordered list.

Files

You can open and save files, which are stored on your SD card or internal storage under the CardScape directory.

Files are stored as simple xml files with .crd extension, so importing your data into desktop appications is easy.

Pin cards

Cards can be pinned to the canvas so they do not move by accident.

They will still move with the rest of the group if you move a group.

Gestures

You can drag and drop cards, move the canvas, add cards all using simple, intuitive gestures.
Long press on the empty canvas to add a new card.
Long press on a card for a context menu, with options to edit, delete, assign to a group and pin the card.

Unlimited canvas

You can continue to move the canvas without bounds.

Pinch to zoom in and out, letting you quickly navigate the space or view a few cards in detail.

Groups

You can group cards, assigning a colour and name to each group.

Cards can be moved on their own or in groups by toggling the move as group/move single card feature.

Tablet friendly

Will work with whatever screen size you have.
